Expanding go-too across Cheshire East
The go-too ‘on demand’ bus service was introduced to the rural area south and west of Nantwich in October 2021 as a pilot scheme, funded by the Department for Transport.
Following its success and a service review, go-too will merge with the council’s FlexiLink service to create a new demand responsive service operating across the Cheshire East borough from August 2026. The new service will operate as follows:
Where will go-too operate?
The new service will cover all of Cheshire East, operating within four zones.
Who can travel on go-too?
All residents living within the operating area can use the service where no alternative and/or suitable public transport is available.
What times will go-too operate?
The service will run Monday to Friday from 09:30–14:30 and 16:30–21:00. It will also operate on Saturdays from 09:00–18:00.
How much will the service cost?
Fares will be £4 per journey (aged 16+) and £2 (under 16s). Concessionary bus pass holders can travel for free.
Further information about the new go-too service will be added soon, so please check back for updates. We look forward to welcoming you on board.
